Differences between drivers (API 1 & API 2)
Looking for an older MHUB model?
- API 1: these are basic system switching drivers (IP or RS232) with one-way communication between the controlling device and the MHUB.
- API 2: these are advanced drivers (IP) which offer detailed two-way state reporting (volume and switch state etc), control, self discovery and auto IP healing depending on hardware support.
- API 2 drivers with Expanded IO: these drivers have advanced capabilities to send IR data from the control system to MHUB’s IO ports (CEC or IR).
